Orphan Education Program

IC&RC continues to strive for improving the lives of underprivileged children and bettering their future. Orphan children of 5 to 19 years, living and working in the streets are our primary focus. Such children are either orphans, have very poor parents, or are runaways from home often to escape abuse. They are invariably malnourished, often have no access to education or medical facilities, abused and addicted to drugs. In many such circumstances, intervention for social rehabilitation and education go hand in hand. Therefore, IC&RC provides educational services to poor children in the following forms:

  • Advice and facilitation on education, resumption of education, suitable academic institutions
  • Funding or support in funding of education for eligible orphan children

Books & Souvenirs Outlet

The outsourced Books & Souvenirs Outlet shall be located close to the entrance hall of IC&RC offering a wide selection of products inspired by the life and death/martyrdom of the Prophet (PBUH), Ahl-e-Bait (AS), Imams (AS) and Shuhda-e-Karbala. The Outlet shall stock exclusive books, souvenirs, posters, gifts and memorabilia related to these great people (AS) and Islam in general. Under no circumstances shall the Outlet stock any banned, controversial or unauthentic material in any form or type.

Disaster Relief Services

IC&RC provides disaster relief services to individuals or communities suffering from a crisis caused by a natural disaster (e.g. flood, earthquake, landslide, drought, famine etc.) or manmade disaster (bomb blast, epidemic, terrorist attack, accidents etc.). Relief services include financial, material, technical and advisory assistance to people in emergency due to disaster. While mostly relief services are provided as a ‘one-off’ episode, the situation can get prolonged and relief services may be required for an extended period to deal with a continuing crisis. This is addressed through financial aid or in-kind assistance such as food supplies, clothing, medication, shelter and other necessary goods and services. IC&RC makes all effort to provide disaster relief to the sufferers in a way that safeguards their dignity and encourages self-reliance.
