IC&RC provides disaster relief services to individuals or communities suffering from a crisis caused by a natural disaster (e.g. flood, earthquake, landslide, drought, famine etc.) or manmade disaster (bomb blast, epidemic, terrorist attack, accidents etc.). Relief services include financial, material, technical and advisory assistance to people in emergency due to disaster. While mostly relief services are provided as a ‘one-off’ episode, the situation can get prolonged and relief services may be required for an extended period to deal with a continuing crisis. This is addressed through financial aid or in-kind assistance such as food supplies, clothing, medication, shelter and other necessary goods and services. IC&RC makes all effort to provide disaster relief to the sufferers in a way that safeguards their dignity and encourages self-reliance
